Intelligent Open Die Forging System completes the melt-forge-cast loop.
Installation and successful trials completed at SMTC. The 4,300/5,100 tonne press joins the recently commissioned VIM and VAR furnaces, completing the melt-forge-cast loop in titanium, superalloys, and advanced high-performance alloys.
